Festival Grant Recipients
2018 Festival grants
The Festival board granted $15,000 in savings and proceeds from the 2018 Festival to the following organizations:
$3565 to Simonds School & PTO toward playground structures
$3565 to Main Street Warner Inc toward a mix position station at the theater
$2736 to Simonds School for a pottery kiln for art classes
$2516 to Pillsbury Free Library for an emergency elevator phone, AED, and shelving stabilizer struts
$1000 to Warner Youth Sports Association for scholarships for the ski program
$782 to Warner Parks and Recreation for soccer benches
$500 to Concord-Lake Sunapee Rail Trail toward an outdoor bicycle repair station
$339 to Warner Parks and Recreation for pickle ball nets
2017 Festival grants
The Festival board granted $2000 in proceeds from the 2017 Festival to Concord-Lake Sunapee Rail Trail to connect Route 103 near Exit 7 to the Stevens Rail Trail in Hopkinton, and $2700 to Warner Parks and Recreation for security and fence line adjustments at Riverside Park. $5400 was applied to the remaining cost of the festival land / municipal parking and school grounds enhancements completed in 2016.
In 2016, Festival donations went to the establishment of a permanent festival area and town parking behind Foothills and adjacent to Simonds School. Festival funded $10K of this project in total.
2015 Festival grants
$600 to Kearsarge Sophomore class for their junior prom
$1100 to Pillsbury Free Library for a chrome book and new projection systems

Festival grant applications are due prior to the Festival each year. To request funding, you must represent a local organization which participates actively in that year's Festival.
